First, Who is Jesus, and What Did He Do?
Dear Precious Visitor,
As a pastor, minister of the gospel, and missionary, I cannot stress the
following enough. It is absolutely imperative that each person know exactly who Jesus
is and what He has done before they put their faith in Him. The Bible
warns that there is a false Gospel that promotes another 'Jesus.'
(Galatians 1:6-9 and 12 Corinthians 11:4) That gospel and Jesus can do nothing
for you but deceive you. The true Jesus that provides true salvation is
identified as follows.
Briefly and simply stated, Jesus is God the Creator who clothed Himself in human
flesh. (John 1:1-3, 14.) He is also the 'Lord' of Abraham (John 5:18, 8:56, and
10:30-33) who gave the Law to Moses (Exodus 3:14, John 8:58) in the Old
Testament. He was also resurrected bodily on the third day according to the
Scriptures. (Luke 24:36-43, John 20:26-29, and 1 Corinthians
15:3-4) This is the Jesus in whom our trust must be placed. (Romans 10:9-10)

vra u die belangrikstevraag van die lewe. U vreugde of u verdriet, vir alle
EWIGHEID hang daarvan af. Die vraag is: IS U GERED? Die vraag is nie of u ’n lid
van een of ander Kerk is nie, maar: IS U GERED? Dit is nie ’n kwessie van hoe
goed u is nie, Maar: IS U GERED? Niemand kan die seën van God geniet, of Hemel
toe gaan, sonder om gered te wees nie – Jesus het vir Nikodemus gesę in Johannes
3:7;,,Moenie jou verwonder dat ek vir jou gesę
het, JULLE MOET WEER GEBORE WORD NIE.”God gee
aan ons in Sy Heilige Woord die ENIGSTE plan vir saligheid. Die plan is
eenvoudig, u kan VANDAG gered word.
Eerstens my vriend, moet u besef DAT U ’n SONDAAR
IS. Romeine3:10;,,Daar is niemand regverdig nie,
selfs nie een nie.”
,,Want daar is geen onderskeid nie; Almal het
gesondig en dit ontbreek hulle aan die heerlikheid van God”Romeine
3:22, 23.
Daar is GEEN KANS om gered te word nie, tensy u
besef dat u ’n SONDAAR is. Omdat u ’n sondaar is, is u veroordeel om te sterwe.
,,Want die loon van die sonde is die dood”Romeine
6:23.
,,En as die sonde tot volle ontwikkeling gekom het,
bring dit die dood voort”Jakobus 1:15.
Dit beteken van God geskei te wees, in die HEL VIR
EWIG. Hoe vreeslik! Ja my vriend, maar dit is waar, want God het u so liefgehad,
DAT HY SY ENIGGEBORE SEUN GEGEE HET, Jesus Christus, AS U PLAASVERVANGER; wat
ons sondes gedra het en wat in U plek gesterwe het.
,,Want Hy het HOM [Jesus] wat geen sonde geken het
nie, SONDE gemaak vir ONS, sodat ONS KAN WORD
GEREGTIGHEID van God in HOM”2
Korinthiërs 5:21.
,,Wat self ONS SONDES in SY liggaam op die kruishout
gedra het, sodat ONS die sondes kan afsterwe en vir die geregtigheid lewe; deur
wie se wonde JULLE GENEES IS”1 Petrus 2:24.
Jesus moes sterwe. SY BLOED moes gestort word.
,,Want die SIEL van die vleis IS IN DIE BLOED”Levitikus
17:11.
,,Sonder BLOEDVERGIETING vind daar geen vergifnis
plaas nie”Heb. 9:22.
Ons kan nie verstaan hoe ons sondes op Jesus gelę
is nie, maar God sę in SY WOORD dat dit wel so is. U SONDE, my vriend, het JESUS
GEDRA en HY HET IN U PLEK GESTERWE. God kan nie lieg nie.
Die Filippeinse tronkbewaarder het vir Paulus en
Silas gevra:,,Wat moet EK DOEN om GERED te
word?” ,,Toe sę hulle: ‚Glo in die Here Jesus Christus, en jy SAL GERED WORD, jy
en jou huis’”Handelinge 16:31.
U moet eenvoudig net glo in Hom as die EEN wat vir
U SONDE GESTERWE het, in U PLEK begrawe is en weer opgestaan het, vir U
REGVERDIGMAKING. Roep Hom nou aan.,,Want ELKEEN
wat die naam van die Here aanroep, SAL GERED WORD”Romeine
10:13.
Die eerste gebed wat ’n sondaar moet bid, word
gegee in LUKAS 18:13;„O GOD, WEES MY SONDAAR
GENADIG!”U is ’n sondaar, en sekerlik is u
baie jammer daaroor. Reg, en NOU, waar u ookal mag wees, hef u hart op na God in
gebed. Dit is nie nodig om lank of hardop te bid nie, want God is baie begerig
om u te red. Sę net:,,O God, ek is ’n sondaar,
ek is baie jammer, ek het berou, wees my GENADIG en RED MY, om Jesus ontwil.”Neem
Sy woord aan.
,,Want ELKEEN [dit sluit u in] wat die naam van die
Here aanroep, SAL GERED WORD. [Nie sal miskien, of kan nie, SAL GERED WORD]”Romeine
10 :13. Neem God se Woord aan. As u dit gedoen het, wat Hy u hier gevra het, EIS
dan die SALIGHEID IN DlE GELOOF volgens SY WOORD. GLO EN U SAL GERED WORD. Geen
kerk, geen geld, nie goeie werke nie, NIEMAND ANDERS AS JESUS ALEEN, KAN U RED
NIE.
Die eenvoudige plan vir saligheid is: U IS ’n
SONDAAR; omdat u ’n sondaar is MOET U STERWE, so nie, glo in Christus wat U
PLAASVERVANGER IS en in u plek gesterwe het, wat begrawe is en weer opgestaan
het.
Roep God net aan, met die BESEF dat u ’n sondaar
is, en vra Hom om u genadig te wees en u te red om JESUS ONTWIL.Neem SY WOORD
AAN en EIS DIE SALIGHIEID IN DIE GELOOF.
U sę miskien:,,Dit
is sekerlik nie al wat ek moet doen om gered en word nie?”Ja
dit is, volstrek alles. Dank God, baie siele is vir Christus gewen deur hierdie
eenvoudige plan. Dit is SKRIFTUURLIK. Dit is GOD SE PLAN. My vriend, GLO EN DOEN
DIT VANDAG Nou is die tyd – vandag, is die dag.,,Kyk
NOU is die tyd
van die welbehae, kyk NOU is die dag van verlossing”2
Korinthiërs 6:2.
,,Beroem jou nie op die dag van môre nie, want jy
weet nie wat die dag sal bring nie”Spreuke
27:1.As hierdie traktaat nie vir u duidelik is nie, LEES DIT OOR EN OOR TOTDAT u
dit verstaan.Moenie dit opsy sit nie, want u SIEL is meer werd as die hele
węreld.,,Want wat sal dit ’n mens baat as hy die
hele węreld win, en aan SY SIEL SKADE LY, of Wat sal ’n mens gee as losprys vir
sy Siel?”Markus 8: 36, 37.

ENIGIETS ANDERS.AS U U SIEL VERLOOR, VERLOOR U DIE HEMEL EN ALLES DAARBY.GOD
HELP U OM VANDAG GERED TE WORD. Hy sal u red en OOK BEWAAR.
,,Geen versoeking het julle aangegryp behalwe ’n
menslike nie; maar God is getrou wat nie sal toelaat dat julle bo julle kragte
versoek word nie, maar Hy sal saam met die versoeking ook die uitkoms gee, sodat
julle dit sal kan verdra”I Konn. 10:13.
Moenie op u gevoelens staatmaak nie. Hulle
verander. Steun op God se beloftes. Hulle verander nooit nie. NADAT U GERED IS,
IS DAAR DRIE DINGE WAT U MOET BEOEFEN VIR U GEESTELIKE LEWE: BID – praat met
God. LEES U BYBEL – God praat met u. GETUIG – u praat nou vir God.
,,Elkeen dan wat My sal bely voor die mense, hom sal
Ek ook bely voor My Vader wat in die Hemele is”Mattheus
10:32.

Dear Beloved of God,
If you have read, understood, believed, and followed the
instructions given above, congratulations. Upon the Authority of the Word of
God, you should have the assurance that you have been born again!
Though it is by no means necessary, the Pastor of Windward Bible
Church (also the webmaster of LCM) would be encouraged to hear that you have
been saved by grace through face in Jesus Christ and His finished work. Please
drop him a short e-mail the tell him so (in English only as I cannot understand
any others). I assure you. Your e·mail address will not be placed on any mailing
list or shared with others, unless you specifically request it.
If you live in a Muslim or Communist country, or any other place
that may be hostile to the Good News of Jesus Christ and His finished work, I fully understand
that you may not want to have someone communicating back to you with e-mails
that could possibly be intercepted by others. Thus, I will not send you any
e·mails or anything else if you state that.
Yet, it is important that you tell someone about your new
faith in Christ. You should not be ashamed of who Jesus is to you now. (Psalm
107:1-2, Luke 9:26, Romans 1:16) If you
tell me, I will endeavor to pray for you and have those in our local assembly of
Windward Bible Church to also pray for you. The information on how to contact me

As a new member of God's personal family, you should seek out a
good church and fellow believers with whom to fellowship. You should also take
the first step in following the Lord as a disciple, which is identifying
yourself as a believer that has been born again by the spirit of God. That step
is simply following the Lord in believers baptism by immersion in water that
symbolizes your death to your old way of life, and your spiritual rebirth and
walking in the new life God has given you. (Romans 6:1-3)
If you live in an area where there is no church that faithfully teaches the
Bible, I suggest that you attend our services virtually by listening to our
messages in MP3 format posted here on LCM.
