Above is VR photo tour of a
trip from the Robinsons' home in Meldrum/Belvedere over to Windward
and back home through Dover
This tour begins in front of our home (house to the right of two
vehicles)
heading west, northwest up the road. At the top of the hill we make a
sharp turn to the
northeast and travel across the winding "Top Road" until we come down to a
junction by the sea in
Windward. If you turned left here you would come to
Windward Bible Church
located next to the Windward Jetty, located a little over one tenth of mile to the
north from there. However, we turn right here and travel south with a
low seawall shore along the left side of the road. We then turn right once
more and head southwest until we reach another junction in Dover. As we
turn right and travel northwest for some fifty yards you can see the
Dover Government School on the
left with some sheep peacefully grazing the grass. After we round the
corner to the left with the school on our left, we then travel the
meandering road back up to the top of a hill at the bottom of
Belvedere and Meldrum at a "turnaround." From there it is only a short
jaunt back up the road to our house.
